English translation: “Having conducted a journalistic investigation, the Kavun.City editorial team identified, with a high degree of probability, one of the terrorists... a Donetsk native, Aleksandr Sheptura.” The piece traces his record via a 2016 Myrotvorets listing, a 2021 hromadske.ua investigation naming him, a 2015 ORD-UA piece, and a leaked internal document he posted himself in 2023 that inadvertently confirmed his identity.
